**The Role**:
The import Coordinator will responsible and accountable for the tracking of offshore shipments. He/She will oversee freight booking, customer release, warehouse allocation of containers and keeping record of all price contract with venders.

**Employment Type**: Full Time

**Reports To**:Supply Chain Manager
- Tracking of all direct and indirect shipments and update system for ETA
- Reconciliation of Purchase orders with Performa invoice and update PO if required
- Checking of rates in Performa invoice with approved price list / Contracts
- Follow up with vender/fright forwarder/logistic partner for update status
- Coordinate with custom brokerage and fright forwarder for the release of all shipment before arrival
- Follow up for hold shipments and provide assistance in releasing with custom/shipping line/Port
- Keeping a record of all demurrage/detention/storage charges and provide approval to finance for processing invoices
- Assign containers to trucking companies according to warehouse allocation and priorities
- Maintaining freight database for ocean freight rates for all Dry and refer containers from all port of departure.
- Prepare and distribute ETA reports of containers.
- Manage all the crucial documents such as Performa invoice, original bills of lading, freight invoices, shipping notices etc.
- Monitor vender performance in terms of missed shipment after processing time, delayed containers and port congestion.
- Any additional duties as assigned.

**What You Bring**:

- A university degree or equivalent experience in Supply chain, Logistics, Transportation, or related field. Working knowledge of ERP is an asset.
- Knowledge of Import documentation and Canada custom procedures, having Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) would be an assets.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, business management and customer service skills.
- Strives to meet and exceed expectations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
