Gis Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented **GIS Specialist** to join our team. The **GIS Specialist** will be responsible for providing GIS support to the enterprise including mapping, spatial analysis, data management, visualizations and technical support and will work with a team to build and maintain a functional enterprise GIS System.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in GIS discipline
- Certification in GIS technology / software
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ professional experience
- Experience with Python or equivalent scripting or programming languages
- Understanding of basic SQL and enterprise RDBMS systems

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Pay: $45.00-$48.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L6R 0G4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- as GIS Specialist: 2 years (preferred)
- ESRI GIS software (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, etc.): 2 years (preferred)
- Python: 2 years (preferred)
- Understanding of basic SQL: 1 year (preferred)
- data conversion, database management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- GIS technology / software (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L6R 0G4
