**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking a creative, energetic, professional, and motivated individual to join our team as an **HR Recruiter & Coordinator**. This person will have the opportunity to support all initiatives within the department while focusing on recruiting and onboarding. The HR Recruiter & Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS data-entry and talent acquisition.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for processing all HR transactions and be resourceful in assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures as needed
- Providing a world-class new hire on-boarding experience
- Completing paperwork with all new hires; maintaining current and former employee personnel files; assisting with the hiring process; and delivering orientation to our new employees
- Maintaining and following up-to-date Canada and Ontario employment laws
- Working cross-functionally, partnering with Company Payroll, Marketing and other departments as needed
- Supporting ongoing recruiting efforts—maintaining Company’s careers page, posting job openings, screening applicants, and coordinating remote and onsite interviews
- Providing back-up support to the HR Generalist as needed
- Performing quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
- Interacting professionally with business leaders and employees—inspiring confidence and trust
- Working effectively as a team contributor on all assignments, while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with others within the organization
- Maintaining the highest standard of business ethics and professional conduct, exhibiting sound judgment
- Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding payroll and employee issues
- Ensure compliance and data integrity throughout the system
- Responding to employee inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
- Completing other special projects as assigned

**Qualifications**:
To be considered, you will have the following basic qualifications:
- College diploma or equivalent required (preferably in Business or related field)
- 0 - 3 years’ experience in Human Resources
To be at the very top of our list, you will also have these other highly desirable qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred
- Previous administrator-level experience working with ADPs WorkforceNow is an asset
- Previous experience working with JazzHR applicant tracking system is an asset
