Showroom Consultant

**SUMMARY**:
We are currently looking for a **Showroom Consultant** to join our team in our **Kingston** showroom, located at **669 Gardiners Rd, Kingston, ON. **If you are a passionate, creative, self-starter why not join our team and put your career on a path to success.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greet clients and determine their needs
- Provide the necessary information required to satisfy customer needs
- Complete and provide a quote indicating price and requested material
- Order entry on approved orders in the computer system
- Complete documentation and processes for special orders and (non-stocks)
- Follow up with customer providing information and availability of product
- Schedule delivery of product as per company policy
- Execute tracking of product if necessary
- Ensure product payment
- When a Bardon contractor is involved, co-ordinate the customer's order with the contractor
- Update all reserved orders to insure they are released on a timely basis
- Field customer complaints and work with suppliers to resolve these complaints

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Sales experience, customer service, and/or pricing training an asset
- Interior design related courses an asset
- Proficient in Outlook; working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical/analytical abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to follow-up
- Able to manage multiple priorities
