**Position Overview**
We are currently seeking an **Account Operations Manager** to lead and expand our internal **Customer Support**, **Collections**, and **Legal Operations** based out of our **Edmonton office**. This is a senior-level position reporting directly to executive leadership, responsible for managing day-to-day operational performance while driving strategic growth and process excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and scale internal operations across customer service, collections, and legal enforcement functions.
- Lead, mentor, and support teams including paralegals and legal collection agents to ensure compliance and performance targets are met.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company growth and client requirements.
- Analyze performance metrics and deliver insights to improve efficiency, quality, and recovery rates.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate technology solutions and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations governing the ARM (Accounts Receivable Management) industry.
- Support business development efforts by ensuring operational readiness and capacity to onboard new portfolios.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum **10 years of experience** in the **debt collection or accounts receivable management industry**.
- Proven experience managing legal operations or working directly with legal collection teams and paralegals.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of building and scaling high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian collections laws and regulatory environments.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Results-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location: In person
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
