Job Summary:
Drivers are responsible for transporting product by road to and from Vendors/Shippers, retail locations and distribution centers to and from the USA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- 1. Delivering trailers of product to assigned destinations.

2. Pre-trip and Post-trip inspection of truck and trailer.

3. Connection and dis-connection of truck and trailer.

4. Fueling and proper care of truck.

5. Assist with unloading truck where required.

6. Maintain care and control of equipment and load.

Job Related & Physical Requirements:
- 1. Hold a current valid Commercial Driver’s License meeting the requirements of 49 C.F.R. Part 383.

2. Expected to be able to drive the regulated hours of service in compliance with both Canada and the USA Hours of Service regulations and follow all federal and provincial traffic regulations and laws.

3. 2 years of experience preferred with 53-foot trailers.

4. Ability to perform up to one hour of crouching or bending to perform pre
- and post-trip inspections in external conditions.

5. Manual dexterity to pull pins, unhook airlines, etc.

6. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds of weight.

7. Ability to stand, walk and move product for up to 1 hour.

Other Requirements:
1. valid passport of their home country.

2. Must be eligible for admission to the USA (i.e. clear criminal background check, clear drug and alcohol record or other grounds under section 212 of the Immigration and Naturalization Act).

3. Compliance with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy, requiring pre-employment and random tests throughout employment.

4. Clear driving record and abstract.

5. Fully vaccinated for COVID-19

7. Attention to detail.

8. Excellent customer service skills.
