**Job Summary**

**What is the opportunity?**

The Senior Manager IT Risk provides support to Capital Markets BCST team, by managing tech currency, risk, and infrastructure for BCST - Operations IT, BPS, and Middle Office Systems.

**What will you do?**
- Responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple risk-based components across BCST
- Refine and understand what work teams need to complete for end of life, risk or currency remediation for technical teams
- Responsible for supporting ongoing progress reports and communications with Sr. Leadership.
- Provide strategic oversight into remediation approach and execution.
- Partner with leadership across BCST to understand key actions; cutting through reporting to provide simple “so what” items for action.
- Engage hands on teams who are managing remediation activities to ensure that output from remediation activities has traceability back to root causes.
- Partner with first, second and third line of defense colleagues, serving as a conduit to ensure program completion.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must have**:

- Proven leadership and project/program management skills to drive alignment across key functions.
- Experience managing or being a part of a compliance or risk management team for a large US bank.
- Deep understanding of risk framework, corporate/business policies, and programs to translate into plans for the business, function and/or risk type.
- Experience building executive level presentations and communications.
- Strong program and change management skills.
- Deep understanding and proven ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
- Minimum 5 years of project delivery in technology, software, infrastructure, or risk
- Effective communication skills / executive presence. Previous consulting experience preferred.

**Nice-to-have**:

- Experience reporting in Jira and Confluence
- Creating reporting in Tableau or similar BI tools
- Knowledge of open-source risk and remediation
- Managing risk findings for a technical team
