**About the Role**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage audit engagements for public company clients, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable standards.
- Lead a team of approximately 6 professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship.
- Review financial statements, disclosures, and working papers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on engagement planning, budgets, and timelines.
**Qualifications**
- Canadian CPA designation.
- 5+ years of external audit experience with public company clients at a CPA firm in Canada.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience managing a team in a CPA firm environment.
- Current work experience at a CPA firm in Canada.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, CAS, PCAOB, and IFRS.
- Based in Vancouver, with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity from the Vancouver office.
**Preferred Background**
- Experience from Big 4 firms (EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte).
- Experience from mid-sized or national firms (Grant Thornton, MNP, RSM, etc.).
**Compensation & Benefits**
- Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience).
- Opportunity to lead public company audit engagements and mentor a growing team.
**Schedule & Work Environment**
- Hybrid work arrangement, based in Vancouver, BC.
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
