**Location**: Toronto, Canada - Hybrid(3 Days onsite in a week with extension based on client need)

**Job Type**: Long-Term Contract

We are seeking highly experienced SAS Conversion SMEs with strong expertise in Python, PySpark, AWS, and modern data platforms to support the migration and transformation of legacy SAS-based analytics jobs into scalable and maintainable Python-based solutions. These individuals will act as liaisons between the DnA Business Teams and the technical implementation teams to assess existing SAS workloads, identify conversion opportunities, define re-engineering strategies, and support the rewrite and validation process using modern cloud-based data technologies.

**Job Description:

- **Engage with Business and Analytics teams to understand and analyse existing SAS jobs and reporting pipelines.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and impact assessment of SAS-based workloads and recommend appropriate Python-based transformation solutions.
- Design and develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable Python/PySpark scripts for batch and real-time data processing in the cloud environment.
- Translate SAS data processing logic into Python or PySpark code ensuring functional parity and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end solution quality.
- Assist in data validation and reconciliation to confirm migration completeness and correctness.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other team members during the conversion project.
- Document all conversion patterns, business rules, and technical specifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
