Title: Overnight Awake Direct Support Worker (Full Time or Part Time - Permanent Agency wide)

Location: All programs

Hours: 24-80 hours bi-weekly
- Hopewell_ is a not-for-profit registered charity governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We were established in Ariss, Ontario in 1983 by John and Johanna Oosterhuis._
- Hopewell_ provides high-quality personal care for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and complex needs, as well as support for their families._
- Our unique culture and well-deserved reputation for extraordinary staff and exceptional care have allowed _Hopewell_ to expand to seven locations, meeting the needs of over 500 families throughout Wellington County._

**Job Summary**:

- The Overnight Awake Support Worker works as a professional within a clinical multidisciplinary team that follows a biopsychosocial model of intervention for children, youth and adults with complex developmental, physical and emotional challenges. This position will primarily be responsible for the care of individuals while they are asleep during the overnight hours. The Overnight - Awake Support Worker is expected to be awake during the overnight hours and respond to support needs as required. Additional tasks include completing light housekeeping tasks to maintain the home and program.**We offer**:

**Special Hiring Considerations**:

- University or College Degree/Diploma in relevant field is an asset.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, dual diagnoses, and complex behavioural needs is an asset.
- Valid G Driver's License.
- Valid First Aid / CPR certification
- Must be able to provide 2 professional/academic references at the time of the interview.
