Sanitation Worker Duties:

- Reports to Sanitation Co-ordinator / Sanitation Manager
- Mop condensation throughout the plant on a continuous basis
- Empty garbage in a timely manner
- Stock paper towels and soap throughout the plant
- Maintain boot dips
- Clean and remove debris that occurs around equipment/processing areas on a continuous routine
- Tidy/clean live end lunchroom and washroom
- Maintaining de-feathering room, offal room, inedible room during production
- Removing tanks and totes of inedible or garbage
- Dumping inedible and garbage appropriately and in a timely manner
- Operation of the lug wash machine as needed
- Cleaning up and sanitizing equipment, walls, floors per pre-requisite program requirements, utilizing pressure hoses, foamers, and sprayers.
- Cleaning up and sanitizing truck cabins and welfare area
- Fogging disinfection of offices
- Works effectively alone and in a team environment, cooperative attitude.
- complies with the company’s HACCP, GMP and safety operating procedures

Qualifications:

- Ability to proficiently communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to operate all equipment appropriately in the work site in a safe manner and to use appropriate lock-out procedures.
- Forklift &/or power jack certification may be required.
- Must have a history of good attendance and reliability

Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Shift start times may vary between 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
