**Your opportunity**:
The Office of the Faculty Registrar works closely with departments and colleges at the University of Toronto, concerning virtually all matters relating to Arts and Science students. Our department members are dedicated to aid all students to the greatest extent, to make their university experience as smooth and seamless as possible. We coordinate personal, financial, and academic counselling, registration.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Transfer Credit, the incumbent assist the Transfer Credit Office with transfer credit assessment, registration and responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Analyzing domestic academic documents to assess credentials against University equivalencies
- Liaising with contacts to ensure consistent administration procedures are followed
- Probing for information to establish needs
- Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
- Creating and updating student records
- Writing routine documents and correspondence
- Following rules and procedural instructions when receiving, sorting and distributing mail
**EssentialQualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of recent and related experience with the administration of evaluating courses from other institutions for transfer credits.
- Experience providing front-line service to students.
- Experience assessing courses from domestic and international institutions.
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and understanding of educational systems domestic and international.
- Experience and sound knowledge of best practices in transfer credit and enrolment.
- Experience in updating and maintaining database records
- Demonstrated experience with Rocket Shuttle, Slate, Degree Explorer, Mobility Online, and ROSI or similar systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
