School Portrait Photographer

**Responsibilities**:

- Photograph portraits of children and adults, both individuals and groups.
- Organization to ensure each photo day runs smoothly.
- Setup and tear down personal professional photography studio.
- Handle day to day customer service related questions and situations.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Ensure each staff member and student has a great experience on photo day

**Qualifications**:

- No photography experience required - Full training is provided
- Strong customer service and organization skills.
- Ability to adjust to last minute changes
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Experience working with children and working in retail/customer service is an asset.
- Basic understanding of how to use a laptop computer an asset.
- Required to have access to a reliable car.
- Required to have a G2 drivers license (minimum).
- Successful pass of a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Ability to lift 25-45 pounds of equipment.
- Ability to work up to 3 days a week during school hours (anytime between 7:30am-4:00pm)
- MUST have access to high-speed internet at home to submit completed photoshoot images via secure FTP.
- **MUST** be able to obtain vulnerable sector check from local Police Services at own expense.

**What To Expect**:

- Paid training & job site mentoring.
- Contract goes from late-August until the end of November.

- Equipment is issued to each employee for the duration of their contract.
- Travel to a new school every shift within the **Grey/Bruce county** areas.
- Paid for every kilometer travelled.
- $18 - $20 an hour
- Training to begin approx. 2 weeks before school begins
- Working in a fun environment surrounded by outgoing coworkers, such as yourself.
- Uniform shirt is provided upon successful completion of training.

**For those individuals who excel in our Fall 2025 school season will have the opportunity to photograph portraits in our graduation, sports, and/or teams and clubs.**

**Experience**:

- Photography: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
