Part-time Afterschool Instructor

Genius Camp is currently hiring STEM (**Robotics, Coding) instructors.** Genius Camp is a collective endeavor of experienced engineers with the vision to bring a wholesome and holistic educational experience for kids and teenagers across the country.

At Genius Camp, we engage children in real-life tasks and encourage them to put theory into practice in a fun way, using Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Job Location: in-person 306 Lawrence Ave E

Education Curriculum: SK-GR1

Time**:Mondays ONLY** 3:30-4:30pm (1 hour) every week

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A Bachelor’s degree (or working towards) in education or any engineering discipline (B.Ed/B.Engineering)
- Minimum one year of experience with coding, robotics or related fields
- Passionate about STEM topics and Robotics
- Reliable and interactive
- **Prior Programming Experience (Python, JS, HTML, CSS) is a MUST**:

- Prior robotics teaching experience is a great asset
- Comfortable managing groups of up to 10 students
- Comfortable communicating with parents as and when required
- Training will be provided

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON M4N 1T7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
