**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR) using systems like Well EMR or AI aided notes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Participate in research activities to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and practices.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Manage acute care situations effectively, ensuring timely interventions for patients in need.
- Provide pediatric care as necessary, ensuring a compassionate approach tailored to younger patients.

**Qualifications**
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program or medical practice equivalent from abroad
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical practices relevant to acute care settings.
- Experience with electronic health record systems (Well EMR ) is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in hospital/walk in settings or home care is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in data collection and documentation processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
