**About the Role**:
The role of **Financial Analyst **will be working with our finance team at a rapidly growing software company, providing the unique opportunity to grow with the team. Reporting to the Manager, Finance, the Financial Analyst will oversee the day to day accounting cycles, as well as assist in larger scale projects to help support the company’s growth plans. If you thrive in a fast-paced fun and dynamic environment - this role is for you

**What You’ll be Doing**:

- Maintenance of the month end workbook including but not limited to:

- Post entries to the general ledger in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
- Assist with bank and investor compliance reporting including financial statements and key performance metrics
- Preparation of government remittances including HST/QST/PST filings on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls
- Support finance partners in identifying opportunities for process improvements and assisting with finance system implementations/integrations
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and providing supporting documentation
- Other general accounting and administrative duties as required.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong people and communication skills, and a team player
- Results-driven, comfortable working in an agile environment
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel user
- Strong-technological skills
- Experience with Accounting Software; Sage Intacct/Netsuite is a significant asset.
- Accounting degree or working towards a CPA designation

**Reporting: This role will report to the **Manager, Finance**
