**The Role**:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will assist the General Manager in overseeing operations at The Adventure Group. This role will oversee operations for all day activities, including Ziplines, AOC/Snowshoe, Mechanized (Snowmobiles). The primary focus for this role will be on ensuring an excellent team and guest experience at TAG.
**Responsibilities**:
- Implement operational strategy to drive success across the six Gibbons North Stars: Team Happiness, Guest Happiness, Community Happiness, Revenue Happiness, Profit Happiness, and Balance Sheet Happiness.
- Focus on delivering exceptional team and guest experiences through effective leadership and operational management.
- Lead through the Gibbons values and behaviors, promoting alignment amongst all team members.
- Perform administrative duties as required to support operational activities.
- Collaborate with functional departments in head office to ensure alignment of operational initiatives with company objectives.
- Assist with scheduling, recruitment, training, and disciplining of team members to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Oversee Guest Services team and focus on ensuring optimal base atmosphere and guest experience is delivered at all times.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhancement.
- Coordinate with all departments within The Adventure Group to ensure seamless execution of activities and events.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
- Assist the General Manager as required, overseeing daily operations and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business growth.
**Requirements**:
- A history and passion for hospitality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong people management skills.
- Excellent communication, organization and attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience in the adventure tourism industry a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
**Salary and Team Perks**:
- $55,000 - $75,000 annual salary based on experience and qualifications.
