Newforce has an opening for an experienced Equipment Operator Specifically a Hoe Operator.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- 3-5 years or 5,000 hours of experience running a hoe or dozer on a pipeline.
- OR industry courses in heavy equipment operating combined with on-the-job training.
- Experience with manual equipment not GPS style of equipment.
- Well-rounded operator that can start and finish dirt work for a pipeline.
- Class 5 license with a clean driving record
- Valid safety tickets (H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance, CSO)

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Able to run heavy equipment but not limited to dozers, hoes, and excavators for the removal, relocation, or replacement of earth.
- Understanding of slope, grades, and ditch requirements as per customer request, and or industry standards.
- Ability to perform a variety of project specifications of the customer, under the guidance of the site supervisor and project manager.
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and daily operation checks.
- Understanding of environmental standards not limited to waterways, road allowances, and reclamation.
- Follow county and commercial road bans.
- Use of radios when required.
- Maintain equipment and proper storage of but not limited to grease, gasoline, and hydraulic fluids.
- Complete relevant digital paperwork by company and legal standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members to ensure mutually agreeable outcomes and resolve any potential conflicts.
- Acts independently with mínimal supervision.
- Performs general laborer tasks as required.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to read and follow maps including but not limited to LSD.
