**18-month Contract**
The Clerical Assistant will be responsible for performing a broad range of administrative, secretarial, word processing and business support services for a fast-paced Outpatient Clinic. The individual will rotate through the various clinics within the Outpatient Mobility portfolio as well as the booking desk for the Martin Centre and Fracture Clinic.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Clinic areas and patient care team
- Scheduling patient appointments, tests, procedures and follow-up
- Greeting and registering patients
- preparing patient exam rooms
- working with an interdisciplinary team
- answering phones and faxes
- answering inquiries
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a recognized Office Administration program or equivalent
Medical Terminology certificate required
Software Applications; Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, ADT, Soarian scheduling
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good judgment and discretion
Ability to work well under pressure
Highly organized and efficient time manager
Excellent problem solving abilities
Flexibility in rotating job assignments Excellent attendance and punctuality record
This role requires rotating start times and works Monday to Friday
