We’re on the hunt for a **Material Assistant **on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

**Role**:
Provides support to the maintenance/calibration group in the preparation and administration of equipment leased or in transit with service providers.

Performs administrative duties associated with the operation of the department.

**Responsibilities/Work performed**:

- Collect and enter data into various systems.
- Produce and publish various reports.
- Update departmental KPI's.
- Unpack incoming instruments and add to database. Disposition of accessories.
- Administrative support for equipment to be sent for service (calibration, repair). Preparation of requisitions, PO
- Administrative support for instruments returning from service (calibration, maintenance). Preparation of requisitions, PO
- Track, trace and validate equipment on production floors.
- Distribute personalized reminders.
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Coordinate equipment moves.
- Actively participate in maintaining 5S in the department.
- Act as a messenger within the building and occasionally outside the company.
- All other related tasks.

**Minimum qualifications required**:

- High school diploma, secondary school vocational diploma or college diploma;
- 1 to 3 years of related experience. Good experience in customer service.
- Good knowledge of the Office suite;
- Essential knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken.
