Houselink and Mainstay Community Housing (Houselink/Mainstay) is Toronto’s largest non-profit supportive housing provider. Our organization is the result of a recent amalgamation between the former Houselink Community Homes and Mainstay Housing.

As a joined organization, we currently manage nearly 60 residential locations and more than 1,100 units across the City of Toronto, serving individuals with complex mental illness and addictions. We work closely with sector partners to deliver programs and advocate for solutions that will address homelessness.

**Program Supervisor**
**35 hours Monday - Friday**

**Permanent position - 805 Bloor West (on-site)**
- Non Bargaining Unit Position_

The Program Supervisor is responsible for working within HLMS vision, mission and relevant strategic priorities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver recovery based program services;
- Develop and offer community engagement opportunities to the participants
- Plan and coordinate events with the involvement of participants,
- Supervise and schedule staff and Supportive Employment Program participant workers,
- Ensure that staff received regular supervision and adequate, ongoing training and education.
- Prepare and monitor budgets;
- Develop partnerships and explore opportunities to work with others in the sector.

The Program Supervisor works collaboratively with the Food Program Supervisor to plan program activities, to ensure funding requirements are met, to seek ways and means of advancing the program, and to provide back up and program coverage when necessary.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

This position requires an individual who has:

- Experience working with marginalized people and people with mental illness, particularly in facilitating consumer-run programs;
- Experience in program development
- Budget monitoring and oversight
- Ability to conduce performant management, including coaching, mentoring, goal setting and progressive discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience providing direct supervision to staff
- Ability to balance multiple competing demands in a busy environment,
- Understanding of data collection and analysis
- Experience in volunteer coordination, recognition and leadership development,
- Skills and knowledge of Recovery based values, and principles

**This is a non-bargaining unit position. Starting salary is $61, 898**
