We are currently looking for a **Warehouse Associate** to join our team in our **Hamilton **branch, located at **135 Nebo Road, Hamilton, ON.**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00 pm

*Wage commensurate with experience

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare and pack orders for loading and shipping. Double check all picked orders for accuracy of count and type of material.
- Assist with receiving tasks, verify stock and place material in appropriate locations designated by the Receiving Report.
- Load Company vehicles/trucks when all material is ready for delivery to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries and to ensure all material loaded is secured and safe for delivery.
- Responsible to maintain a safe and clean warehouse and counter area for other employees and customers by keeping aisles and shelves clear of objects and/or potential danger.
- Use and maintain equipment (i.e. Forklift, Pump truck, etc.) in a safe manner and inform supervisor immediately of any problems with equipment.
- Assists with annual physical inventory.
- Executes all other duties as required by the position and/or requested by the immediate supervisor.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field, an asset
- Minimum 2-3 Years’ experience in warehouse, picking/packing orders
- Previous Counterbalance forklift experience (current certification an asset
- Comfortable with physical work including lifting, carrying and moving (up to 50lbs)
- Strong written and verbal communication (in English)
- Detail-oriented
- Basic mathematical skills (i.e. Counting)
- Safety conscious
- Ability to work well individually or as a team player

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 2 years (preferred)
- Counterbalance forklift: 1 year (preferred)
