**Position Title**: Food Service Sales Representative
**Location**: Vancouver, BC and Richmond B.C. (V6V 3C8)
**Starting Minimum**: $50,000

**Job Type**: Full Time Permanent
**Position Summary**:
The Food Service Sales Representative, reporting to the Sales Manager or designate, plays a critical role in driving food service sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves managing customer orders, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The role focuses on selling to an established and extensive customer base in the downtown Vancouver area.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- The Foodservice role primarily focuses on selling to a well-established and extensive customer base in the downtown Vancouver area.
- Weekly collection of account balances from customers (distributing statements, credits, and ensuring all invoices are paid according to terms).
- Develop and maintain customer base using correct company protocol on new account sign ups.
- Attend regular sales meetings as well as the annual sales conference.
- Responsible for increasing sales and margin in existing customer base.
- Working with customers to setup weekly advertisements to continue to grow business.
- Selling protein specialties and Made at Centennial items.
- Understanding market conditions, product innovations and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 3 to 5+ years progressive sales experience in a similar sized operation; a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered.
- 2 or more years of related industry experience required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
- Ability to work comfortably on computers.
- Self-motivated and able to work in, and outside of an office setting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
