Counter Staff and Expeditor

**Position Overview**

We’re hiring **Front of House (FOH) Counter Staff & Food Expeditors** to join our seasonal crew at East Point Reef Club — a brand-new surf and spa destination located in Bridal Falls, BC. These interchangeable roles are essential to creating smooth service, efficient kitchen communication, and exceptional guest experiences from start to finish.

Whether you're greeting guests at the counter, managing order flow, or coordinating meals between the kitchen and service area, you’ll play a key role in delivering friendly and consistent service in a dynamic venue.

**Responsibilities**

**FOH Counter Service**:

- Welcome guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, handling payments and cash-out procedures.
- Package orders and coordinate with the kitchen for timing and order flow.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked front counter, condiment station, beverage area, and self-serve zones.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and a can-do attitude.

**Food Expeditor Duties**:

- Serve as the key link between kitchen staff and guest service, ensuring accurate and timely order delivery.
- Confirm orders for presentation, accuracy, and completeness before delivery to guests or pickup areas.
- Assist with food packaging and plating during peak service hours.
- Keep service zones tidy and well-stocked throughout the shift.
- Support kitchen and FOH teams with restocking, supply runs, and end-of-day cleanup duties.
- Communicate clearly with both FOH and BOH to maintain service flow and resolve timing issues.

**Qualifications**
- Previous customer service, food runner, or expeditor experience is a strong asset but not required.
- Friendly, energetic, and guest-oriented with a team-first attitude.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment and standing for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
