**About SICK**:
**Position Summary**:
This position has primary responsibility for the management of all logistics processes, including the receiving of product and equipment into inventory, the shipment of products and repair items to distributors and customers, receiving orders and picking orders and managing the organization of the warehouse to established standards and inventory control. The management of the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process is also a key function of this role. These returns include warranty replacements, exchanges, and repairs.
The key focus of this role is to deliver a very high level of customer satisfaction. This will be achieved by providing prompt, professional and complete responses to customer requests, processing returns efficiently and monitoring each return as it works through the process to make sure delays are avoided and turnaround time is maximized.
**NOTE**:This is a full-time office position.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Pick and pack all items for shipping in accordance with product requirements and safety standards.
- Inspect and receive all goods entering into the building, log item as received, notify appropriate personnel and store product according to designated locations.
- Manage the organization of the warehouse including proper labeling, safety standards, cleanliness and ordering of shipping supplies
- Manage freight and transportation arrangements and follow up to ensure delivery and troubleshoot any delivery problems.
- Put in corrective actions necessary to ensure all goods are shipped and received to company standards.
- SAP Key User, for Logistics.
- Management of the RMA process and policies for customer returns and repairs. Provide the highest level of service to our customers regarding RMA’s, tracking shipments and product and policy information.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in processes or service levels and make recommendations for enhancing them; Implement enhancements as called upon.
- Manage customer expectations and provide the highest level of professionalism in all customer contacts; resolve all customer disputes for the benefit of SICK and the customer.
- Management of Inventory including cycle counts and year-end Inventory.
- Reconcile inventory errors and work with team to improve process and eliminate duplicate inventory errors
- Creates reporting based on current inventory and compares to projections to ensure adequate inventory levels
- Other duties and trainings, as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Requires completion of secondary school (high school).
- a 2-year college diploma or equivalent experience required.
**Experience**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience required in warehouse and logistics operations.
Job Specific Abilities:
- Understanding of business processes, good communication skills, superior telephone techniques and excellent people management skills required.
- Timely, polite, sincere, dedicated, accurate, resourceful, diligent, positive and calm under pressure.
- SAP experience an asset.
- Can safely _solo_ lift up to 50 pounds (23 kgs).
- Can safely _team_ lift items over 50 pounds (23 kgs).
Computer Skills:
Math Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Other Requirements:
- Legally permitted to work in Canada (by citizenship, permanent residence or open work permit).
- Valid driver's licence.
- Must be able to travel to the USA for business reasons, either by possessing a passport exempt from US visa requirements or by possessing a US visa, such as a B-1 or B-1/B-2.
