**Account Manager (Outside Sales)**
**Location**: Fines Home Hardware Building Centre - Cornwall
**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales and Business Development**
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, contractors, and builders.
- Conduct regular site visits to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
- Attend trade shows and other events to network and build relationships
- Participate in industry events and community organizations
**Customer Relationship Management**
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Offer product knowledge and support to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain a customer database and track sales activities.
**Product and Market Knowledge**
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Attend training sessions to keep up-to-date with new products and services offered by Fines Home Hardware Building Centre.
**Sales Strategy and Reporting**
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to management.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
**Collaboration and Teamwork**
- Work closely with the internal sales team, inventory management, and delivery personnel to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and sales campaigns.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or similar role in the building materials industry.
- Proficient knowledge of building materials, on site activities
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
**Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
