Digital Analytics Insights Manager

CM2 supports Marketing and Customer Relationship Management activities at General Motors of Canada Ltd. The GM team of CM2 is based at GM’s Canadian headquarters in Oshawa; the Digital Analytics Insights Manager position will be based in GM Canada’s Montreal office, supporting our Regional Marketing team.

**Overview of Position**:
The Performance Driven Marketing team helps drive data-based insights, strategy, and innovation from our marketing data for GM Canada’s Brands and Marketing teams. The Digital Analytics Manager is responsible for paid media and site digital analytics for our Eastern Region Marketing Group.

Your responsibilities will range from: collaborating with marketing teams and Agency Partners to evaluate strategy and set performance targets; reviewing investment performance and recommending strategy and tactical changes; developing customer-centric marketing journeys with our agency teams; and, reviewing using GM’s measurement framework for developing campaign measurement plans; reporting on results and providing insights on campaign results that can lead to future optimizations; and, developing thought leadership in a particular marketing technology or strategy for the team.
- Work with their team of site and media analysts to collect, distill, and summarize site and media data, presenting a holistic view of performance across channels, and providing actionable insights from the results.
- Report to Regional Leadership, and Dealer Advisory Boards on Media Strategy Performance and Recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop measurement plans, identify tests and optimizations, and refine go-to-market strategies.
- Perform in-depth analysis to answer key strategic questions and develop deeper insights into consumer behaviours in response to our marketing initiatives

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in Digital and/or CRM Marketing for a Brand or Agency.
- Bilingual (French & English), able to communicate effectively at a business level.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated analytical research capabilities with a high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Client-facing experience in an Agency setting is an asset.

**Technical Skills**:

- Experience with digital media marketing tools and/or platforms, such as Site Analytics, Search and Social Ad platforms.
- Mathematical training, especially in Economics, Social Sciences, or Statistics is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability with Business Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) are an asset.
- Demonstrated ability with analytical scripting languages (e.g., Python) area an asset.

**Education and Training**:

- Bachelor’s degree: a major in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Sociology are preferred.
- Adobe Certifications on Site Analytics, Customer Management Platforms, or Data Management Platforms are an asset.
- Google Certifications on SA360, DV360, or Campaign Manager are an asset.
