**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, crane equipment, and other heavy machinery to load and unload shipments.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, or storage areas while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records in real-time.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, including stacking pallets with pallet jacks or forklifts as needed.
- Assist with materials handling tasks such as using mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting or maintenance when required.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards during all operations.
- Support warehouse supervision by maintaining organized storage areas and reporting any safety hazards or equipment issues promptly.
- Operate various types of heavy equipment including crane, clamp truck, forklift, and load & unload machinery to optimize workflow.

**Requirements**:

- Valid **Forklift License/Certification**.
- Minimum **2 year of forklift operating experience** in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation such as cranes or clamp trucks is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues when necessary.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts while maintaining safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory management.
- Construction or materials handling background can be advantageous for understanding complex logistics environments.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Forklift Driver: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
