**The Role**

We are currently looking for a General Labourer. This will be a **full-time** position on the

**Day Shift**:
Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Fridays - 7:00AM - 3:00PM

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Handling of parts that are being produced from various machines
- Cutting metals using Band Saw.
- Using measuring tools to make precise cuts.
- Operating machines to cut, drill, bend and grind metal
- Usage of power tools both pneumatic and electric such as the following but not limited to: Grinders, sanders.
- Examine and inspect finished products to verify conformance to specifications
- Assist machine operators in their daily production tasks
- Strapping and tagging of bundles and various parts
- Daily cleaning of work area and tools
- Transport parts using equipment such as forklifts, dollies, and cranes
- Read travelers to determine work sequences, product dimensions, and/or assembly procedures

**Requirements**:

- Completion of high school or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a production setting
- Experience working with saw
- Experience working with measuring tools
- Knowledge of paint sprayer considered an asset
- Ability to communicate verbally and written in English
- Ability to lift objects up to 60lbs
- Ability to walk for most of the day
- Experience in using power tools
