**Job Description**:
**JOB SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS **

As one of the Managers within the Human Resources & People Experience Team, you will develop and execute an Organizational Development strategy and framework that aligns with RVH’s corporate strategic plan and directives. The Manager will lead a team to identify, organize, create and deliver all components of the OD strategy founded on best practices to drive a positive culture and overall learning experience across the organization that establishes RVH as a knowledge and learning organization.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree with focus on adult education, training and development principles, and/or organizational development specialization, &/or leadership specialization
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation preferred

**Experience**:

- Three to five years of related OD management experience with working knowledge in the areas of change management, organizational design and development, talent management, leadership development, employee engagement and strategies to support the employee life cycle
- Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- Experience designing and implementing effective education, learning and development programs
- Experiencing building leadership and talent management strategies
- Formal training and/or certification in Organizational Development strategy required
- Formal training and/or certification in Change Management preferred
- Certification in individual, team and organizational assessments e.g DISC, Strengths, Myers Briggs an asset

- Ability to articulate the strategic vision, frameworks and designs for driving people experience

- Strategic, analytical, conceptual thinking with a focus on continuous improvement to develop and implement proactive organizational design and development frameworks
- Leadership, human relations, facilitation, political acuity and collaboration skills to train, develop, motivate and support staff, develop working relationships with TEAM RVH, senior leaders and advise and support executives
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Problem-solving skills to proactively identify issues and work towards a solution
- Planning and organizational skills to clearly define a course of action for self and others to accomplish short and long-term goals
- Multi-tasking and time management skills to adjust to shifting priorities with ease and resiliency
- Education and curriculum design, planning and development skills
- Event planning skills (for events like Leadership Excellence Institutes, lunch & learns, etc.)
- Strategic thinking and operational execution skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Leads the creation and continuous evolution of the learning and development (OD) strategy for TEAM RVH, including the organization’s leadership development program, that meets the collective growth and development needs of TEAM RVH and advances RVH’s strategic plan
- Coaches and provides advice on organizational design
- Researches, designs, develops and implements directly or in collaboration with internal or external resources training programs for management and employees based on the organizational development strategy
- Leads the design and implementation of the organization’s core talent processes to drive performance throughout the hospital, including performance management, employee engagement, recognition and leadership development
- Leads the implementation of the recognition strategy for TEAM RVH in collaboration with stakeholders
- Ensures successful execution of regular engagement surveys including communication plans, theme analysis, delivery of results and action plan frameworks
- Oversees the learning management system and promote e-learning and mandatory curriculum programs to support the educational needs of various stakeholders
- Oversees the management of the education trust fund (ETF), ensuring adherence to program and policy criteria including allocation of available resources to identified organizational priorities
- Develops or oversees the development of learning activities, processes, tools, learning/instructor guides and lesson plans with learning objectives and evaluation tools
- Manages resources to ensure cost-effective delivery of agreed upon OD initiatives
- Coordinate and provide employee engagement activities
- Monitors and updates general orientation curriculum and new leader onboarding and coaching
- Plans regular LEI’s (Leadership Excellence Institute) events to drive leadership expertise
