**Tasks**:

- Perform fabrication, installation and repair of conveyor belts, systems, and other rubber products to customer specifications in a timely manner
- Follow safety rules and standards enforced at the customer site and in the workshop
- Assist Service Technicians when needed in the manufacturing of conveyor and transmission belts in the workshop and on site
- Assist Service Technicians when needed in cutting belts, coating belts, vulcanizing cleats or other profiles, preparing and vulcanizing joints, etc.
- Participate in training provided internally or externally on equipment (forklifts, traveling cranes, tools), as well as the upgrading of vulcanization techniques
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the company's productivity, preventive maintenance of equipment and the level of product quality
- Participate in the improvement of the equipment and tools necessary for the work
- Clean and keep the workspace clean in the workshop or at customer site
- Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies; maintain storage area
- Take and deliver orders, stock, and supplies
- Exercise caution in the use of tools and equipment

**Technical skills**:

- Good knowledge of industrial mechanics
- Valid driver's license and owns a vehicle
- Basic math skills and computer skills
- Highly organized with an ability to prioritize tasks with a focus on attention to detail
- Technical/mechanical aptitude is an asset
- Maintenance or previous belt technology experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, as well as the ability to work at heights and in tight spaces
- High school diploma or equivalent training

- Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
- Skills in analysis and problem solving.
- Ability to make decisions quickly and demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness

- Team player, self-discipline and ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems
