Caledon Community Services is currently in a stage of evolution and is looking to recruit their next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to champion and lead the organization through this important stage of growth. The CEO will provide strong leadership, managing a staff team of 100, through 6 direct reports, and a budget of $10M.

The Town of Caledon is entering an exciting and dynamic phase in its history. With a population of over 76,000 residents, it is poised to expand and become an increasingly diverse community in the years ahead. To this end, Caledon Community Services is currently in a stage of evolution and is looking to recruit their next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to champion and lead the organization through this important stage of growth.

Caledon Community Services (CCS) is a multi-service, not for profit agency, that is helping to shape the future of a caring and engaged Caledon community. Since 1971, CCS has been providing a diverse range of services in 12 community service locations, including seniors’ services in 6 Peel Living buildings, across the entirety of the Town of Caledon. CCS currently offers a range of 20+ community-based programs and services that address the needs of a uniquely challenging and increasingly diverse GTA community. The CEO will provide strong leadership, managing a staff team of 100, through 6 direct reports, and a budget of $10M. The CEO will be responsible for the delivery of direct services throughout its locations, and oversee organizational activities for CCS. Funding is provided, in part, by the federal, provincial, and regional government, the Town of Caledon, the United Way Greater Toronto, and the donor community.

You share a passion for service excellence and a strong desire to achieve results. You possess outstanding communication and relationship building skills, and a genuine commitment to employee engagement and leadership development at all levels. You hold a Degree (Master’s preferred) in public administration, management, health, social sciences or a related field; and bring at least 7 years of senior leadership experience, ideally from community services, health care, or other aligned sectors. You possess a successful track record in strategic planning, change management, and leading organizational priorities through to execution. Knowledge of government funding, fundraising, and non-profit board governance is desired.
