**THE POSITION**

Salespeople/Designers are responsible for the end to end sales process with the customer. This includes drafting the design using Cabinet Vision, and on site layout & final measure. This person should be familiar with cabinet fabrication techniques, field measuring, construction plan reading and space planning & design. Basic knowledge of house construction is also required. We have an extensive customer list that the new sales person would build relationships with to provide a high level of service.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experienced (3+ years cabinetry design / sales )
- Cabinetry shop or Installation experience is preferred
- High level of proficiency with Cabinet Vision or Similar Design Software
- Accountable
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for customer service
- Punctual and dependable
- Personable
- Problem solving and creative abilities
- Must be computer literate and comfortable learning new software

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist customers to select millwork products, hardware, etc
- Conduct on site measurements
- Develop detailed cabinetry drawings based on project requirements and design criteria
- Accurately price jobs
- Collaborate with customers, and co-workers to ensure excellence in design and customer service
- Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends
- Be a team player, contribute to a positive team atmosphere

WHY LIVE IN THE COWICHAN VALLEY?

The Cowichan Valley enjoys the warmest overall temperatures anywhere in Canada. It has become great destination for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, fishing and wildlife viewing. We still have a small town vibe but conveniently located a short distance from two larger cities Victoria & Nanaimo.

Pay is based on an hourly wage + commission. Salespeople will earn $50,000 - $100,000 annually dependent on experience & sales volume.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
