**Position Description**

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. This person must have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Flexible days off during the week, along with every other weekend required. Experience and a thorough understanding of housekeeping operations is considered an asset, as well as bilingualism/multilingualism, and previous hotel experience.

**Position Requirements**
- Upholding the company’s cleanliness standards of all guest rooms and other areas of the hotel
- Change and replace all bed linens and towels, and restock all guest amenities
- Dust/wipe/sanitize all surfaces including but not limited to windows, pictures, mirrors, electronics, appliances, and furniture
- Vacuum/mop all floors
- Empty garbage and recycling receptacles
- Using proper chemicals for each task
- Clean and maintain personal workstation by properly stocking it with sheets, towels, amenities, etc.
- Offer guests assistance when needed
- Ensure systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security
- Report any maintenance, security, or safety concerns to the appropriate staff
- Tag all lost and found items and follow proper procedure for handling
