**Required Qualifications**:
High School diploma or equivalent. Active (or eligible) for appointment as a Community Peace Officer with enforcement duties involving the public, as identified by the Province of Alberta/Solicitor General. Successful completion of Alberta Health Services or Alberta Justice and Solicitor General Community Peace Officer Induction Training Program (6 weeks program). Valid Class 5 (non-GDL) Driver's Licence. Valid Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (P.A.R.E.) completed under 4:45 minute, within 6 months prior to commencing employment.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Alberta Class 5 operator’s license, or a provincial equivalent, with no more than four demerits and no charges or pending suspensions. You must be eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer with enforcement duties involving the public. Past criminal records which have not received a pardon, current and past investigations by previous employers, past misconduct as a Peace Officer, and other issues could result in you not being eligible for appointment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
A minimum two years of related work experience OR a related degree or diploma. Experience in uniformed public servant roles or emergency services (military, forestry, park ranger, corrections, peace officer). CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention training and Pressure Point Control Tactic Certificates are also assets. Experience within a healthcare setting. Current First Aid and CPR Level C - AED certification.
