New-Line is currently seeking a **Mobile Hose Service Technician Trainee **to join our dedicated team. To prepare for this role, the trainee will spend the first 3 months of employment developing in-depth product knowledge with the production department. Once trained, the MHS Technician would be responsible for on-site hose testing and hose replacement or repair service for our customers.

When not traveling to customer sites the role will provide support in the production department. This is a highly mechanical role and requires a high degree of multi-tasking and adaptability. If the following describes you and your experience, we welcome you to apply:

- **A high level of mechanical aptitude **and craftsmanship; previous hydraulics, hose, pipefitting, or millwright experience an asset
- The ability to **self-supervise and motivate**; you will be visiting customer sites and must be able to accurately record all parts, labor, travel time, and expenses from each job
- Must have **high attention to detail**; you will be responsible for recording site visit using basic computer skills and communication with dispatch
- **Clean driver’s abstract and criminal record check**; must be able to maintain an impeccable driving record
- The willingness to commit to working on **rotating on-call 24/7 system **(one week of on-call status per month)
- You have extensive **problem-solving skills**; able to provide part or serve alternatives, design systems or connections and troubleshoot issues
- Excellent **customer service skills**; you are adaptable to customer needs and respond in a courteous, professional manner
- Excellent **communication skills**; able to effectively collaborate with team members as well as with customers
- You have a **professional demeanor **and appearance
- Must have or be willing to obtain Fall Arrest and H2S Tickets

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

Licence/Certification:
