**Title: Janitor**

**Reports to**: Manager - Purchasing & Logistics

**Primary Responsibility**

Reporting to the Manager - Purchasing & Logistics, your primary responsibility is cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room and other designated areas of the office and plant.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** General Cleaning**:

- Clean and sanitize office areas, including desks, chairs, floors, and windows.
- Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Dust and polish furniture, equipment, and surfaces.
- Vacuum and mop floors regularly.
- ** Lunch Area Maintenance**:

- Clean and disinfect lunch tables, chairs, countertops, and kitchen appliances.
- Restock supplies such as napkins, paper towels, and soap.
- Ensure the cleanliness of microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee machines.
- ** Restroom Sanitation**:

- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Restock restroom supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.).
- Ensure floors are mopped and dried.
- ** Gardening Duties**:

- Perform light gardening tasks such as watering plants, weeding, and pruning.
- Ensure the office garden is neat and well-maintained on a weekly basis.
- ** Additional Duties**:

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with setting up for office meetings or events as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- ** Must haves**:

- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience, preferably in an office or manufacturing plant setting.
- Experience with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Ability to follow directions, written or spoken
- ** Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of gardening and plant care.
- ** Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for long periods.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely.

**Work Hours**:

- Full-Time: 7.30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
