**Location**: Don Mills (Toronto), ON

About the Role

Reporting to the Broadcast Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will be as follows:

- Operation of Maestro and ORAD virtual set control.
- Operation of Telemetrics robotic cameras in virtual and real environments.
- Technical initialization and facilities checks of all robotic cameras, audio boards, studio lighting, teleprompter, closed captioning and other control room and studio equipment.
- Quality control checks of all programming being played out from server.
- Remote coordination of live events.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including late nights, early mornings and weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.

About You

**What We Need From You**:

- Minimum 3 years of network control room or related experience.
- Degree or diploma in Broadcast Technology from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Comprehensive computer knowledge around any or all of the following newsroom management systems including Mosart, ENPS, Open Media, Grass Valley, XPression and ORAD.
- Strong technical knowledge around switchers, audio and lighting boards, robotic cameras, graphics systems.
- Self-starter who takes initiative to improve workflows and production quality.
