As the Store Manager, you will be responsible to deliver results in sales, and overall profit and loss with direct accountability for setting the vision for the store. The Store Manager leads, manages and grows a superior sales team within the retail store location to deliver on sales targets, gross margins and high levels of customer satisfaction.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage sales associates to achieve sales targets and exceed sales goals
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenu growth
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to sales staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient operations
- Handle customer escalations and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years store management experience in retail including operations, customer service, talent management, health and safety and loss prevention.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to make decisions quickly in a fast paced store environment
- Thorough understanding of sales techniques and strategies
- Possess a high degree of technical skill and is well-versed in Microsoft Office and various POS systems
- Post-secondary education is required
