**Full-time Employment Opportunity: Administrative Coordinator - Executive Team**

Initiatives for Just Communities (IJC) is a non-profit, charitable organization that operates four community justice programs: El'dad Ranch, Touchstone, Open Circle, and CoSA. These programs support people with intellectual disabilities, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and those who are currently, or have been previously, incarcerated. IJC is committed to restorative justice practices, which honour the community and foster a sense of belonging.

The Administrative Coordinator coordinates administrative procedures, public relations activities and research and analysis functions for the Executive Director, members of the Senior Leadership Team, Boards of Directors, and Donors

Reports to the Executive Director

**Responsibilities**:
**Board Responsibilities**:

- Maintain an up-to-date Board Orientation package/Board Recruitment package.
- Assist with document preparation for Board meetings.
- Take minutes at board meetings.

**Donor Responsibilities**
- Update donations in Lime.
- Assist with creating appeal letters for donors.
- Create impact reports for donors.

**Communications and Public Relations Responsibilities**:

- Work on event planning - ie. for AGM, dedication.
- Re-purpose newsletter stories for website, Facebook, etc.
- Create content and layout ideas for website, ensuring the information remains current.
- Assist with Annual Report preparation.
- Prepare and mail Christmas cards for donors and vendors, staff.
- IJC website design
- Reviewing all internet search sites
- Editing written content

**Other Responsibilities**
- Meet weekly with the Executive Director to check in and discuss any projects that need attention.
- Expenses - create a monthly expense report for MasterCard statements - for Executive Director, Associate Directors and Mangers in Winnipeg.
- General troubleshooting.
- Other responsibilities as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A clear Criminal Record Check
- Willing to support the goals and vision of Initiatives for Just Communities

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of files, personal information, and other matters, as appropriate;
- Excellent attention to detail with accuracy and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Proficient in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, Outlook

**Assets**:

- Related post-secondary education or previous experience with Administrative and Office positions.
- Experience or education working in the social services field.
- Availability to work from home occasionally.

**Terms**:

- Starting hourly wage $17.56 to $20.66 depending on experience
- 75 hours biweekly
- There is 3-month probationary period
