This position is a great opportunity for experienced technicians with an aptitude for technology, or individuals with a technology background and an aptitude for mechanical systems.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage technical assistance requests from Brandt Service Departments using Case Contact Management System (CCMS) software
- Develop Brandt Technical Assistance Center (BTAC) Technical Solutions by
- Working with John Deere via their Case Contact Management System (formerly DTAC)
- Working similarly with other OEM Manufacturers represented by Brandt.
- Examine diagnostic trouble codes that come through the JDLink system
- Researching Oil Sample Data
- Researching warranty data
- Identifies emerging issues in the field that can generate additional revenue
- Develops repair procedures for emerging issues, product improvements and warranty work to increase technician efficiencies and increase revenue.
- Identifies Relife and sales opportunities
- Creates and maintains the Technical Solution database
- Utilize John Deere Service Advisor Remote
- To generate diagnostic revenue
- To help branches reduce multiple service field trips
- Monitor alerts received from machines through various software platforms
- Works closely with Machine Monitoring, Brandt Service times and Proactive Maintenance teams to address equipment abnormalities, quote more efficiently and drive revenue opportunities
- Follow up on previous recommendations to ensure problem resolution and identify learning opportunities
- Meet KPI’s for the Brandt Technical Assistance Center(BTAC)
- Provide coverage during peak times for Machine Monitoring Specialists
- Other duties may be assigned

**Required Skills**:
Required Experience
- Red seal Heavy Duty Technician certificate or equivalent work experience in the Industry
- Minimum 5 years service experience recommended
- Knowledge of Agriculture equipment & dealership service departments
- Ability to filter and correlate the different data source to create an accurate recommendation
- Understand effective inspection process and equipment lifecycle planning
- Bilingual is an asset but not required
- Travel may be required
