Woodform Interiors is a high-end custom manufacturing shop executing a major growth phase. We are looking for an **Apprentice Cabinetmaker & CNC Operator** who is obsessed with organization and precision. We don't just build cabinets; we execute a strict manufacturing process. We are looking for the person who organizes their toolbox by size, notices immediately when a label is crooked, and cannot leave a workspace until it is spotless. **If you describe yourself as "messy but creative," this is not the job for you. We hire for discipline.** **Your Mandate** You will support our Production Lead by operating the CNC machine and assembling components. Your primary goal is to ensure **zero errors** move to the next stage of production. **Core Responsibilities** **1. CNC & Machine Operation** - **Execution**: Load sheet goods and execute G-Code programs on our **Format4 Profit H08 CNC**. - **Maintenance**: Perform strict daily cleaning and calibration of the CNC and Edgebander. You own the condition of your machine. **2. Assembly & Production** - **Precision Assembly**: Assemble cabinet cases using dowels, screws, and hardware according to our **Shop Standards Manual**. - **Hardware Prep**: Install Blum hinges and drawer slides with millimeter precision. - **Quality Control**: Inspect every edge and surface for chips or scratches as they come off the line. You are the first gatekeeper of quality. **3. Shop Organization & Logistics** - **Material Handling**: Safely offload delivery trucks and organize sheet inventory using the forklift. - **Staging**: Organize finished parts onto carts by Job Number. - **Cleanliness**: Maintain a high-performance workspace. Sawdust, off-cuts, and clutter are removed immediately, not at the end of the day. **The "Must-Haves" (Non-Negotiable)** - **Forklift Certification**: Valid certification is required. You must be comfortable moving expensive lifts of sheet goods in a busy shop environment. - **Extreme Organization**: You naturally create systems to keep things tidy. You hate chaos. - **Attention to Detail**: You measure twice.
