We are currently looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team within the Western Canada Region. As a member of our team you will provide overall Human Resources support to our facilities within Western Canada, and partner with an awesome team across Canada. The role has many facets including labour relations, health and safety, compensation, recruitment, orientation, payroll, and performance management. As a point of contact for our employees, the Human Resources Manager ensures all company initiatives, programs and practices are aligned to the needs of the business and successfully implemented. **Employment Type**: Full Time
**Location**: Delta, BC
**The Role**- Understand, interpret and ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislative requirements including Human Rights Act, Employment Equity Act, Employment Standards Act, Workers Compensation Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, etc. supporting leaders through the organization.
- Lead recruitment efforts within the Western Canada region for all regional hourly and salary positions.
- Provide coaching to employees at all levels as needed.
- Work in partnership with business leaders and the Union to solve grievance related matters in a timely fashion.
Conduct and document any internal investigations as required.
**About You**
- 3-5 years of experience in a human resource preferably within a senior role.
- Working knowledge and experience within a unionized environment, familiarity with applicable federal and provincial legislations.
- Well-versed in a number of HR functional competencies and best practices.
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
- Creativity and demonstrated ability working in a fast paced environment with a high degree of change and ambiguity.
