Cheezed Inc. is a brand new (2021) Restaurant Concept targeting Premiere Ski Resort
Entertainment Districts, with a goal to provide a unique ‘Canadian Experience’ to our visitors
& patrons, through both the food & service we offer, as well as the atmosphere created by the unique fit-out. Our restaurants are designed to capture the look and feel of a high-end rustic ski chalet, complete with reclaimed wood feature walls, contemporary low profile water fuelled fireplaces, and high-quality state of the art stainless appliances. **Position Description**:
The General Manager will oversee all aspects of Cheezed, acting as the main point of contact with owners, staff and their Store Supervisor(s).

Admin work 15%
Operations work 85%

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the sourcing, hiring, training, scheduling, payroll and tip outs for staff and management team; in coordination with Ownership team
- Strategize with Ownership on Staffing (assessing needs, analytics, job roles, etc.)
- Manage staffing in line with budget and business objectives
- Act as a leader and motivator for all staff - share your passion
- Collaborate with village commercial tenants, Village Association and Blue Mountain

Resort on upcoming events, conferences and dining experiences to help maximize ROI for restaurant
- Be creative in the ideation of new revenue streams, products or featured sandwiches
- Coordinate with third-party support for marketing and social support
- Work closely to provide support and direction to Store Supervisor(s)
- Provide insight when needed on store related General Accounting inquiries
- Oversee and manage supply orders (3 times per week) and inventory to ensure no loss product
- Service customer orders with the highest degree of service
- Prepare the restaurant for daily operation and closing duties, as required
- On-call and manage staff call-in’s and personal days (coordinated with Store

Supervisors)
- Act as the main point of contact for staff and owners
- Meet or Exceed Incentives

**Knowledge, Skill, Ability Prerequisites**:

- Experience leading and managing in a restaurant setting is required
- Ability to lead, train and manage a team effectively
- Ability to effectively time manage & schedule all staff hours
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexible & accommodating schedule to meet the demands of the village
- Professional and customer friendly attitude

**Education & Experience**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Preference given to formal restaurant training
- Food Handling Certificate
- General mathematics
- Time management
- Basic accounting and payroll
- Knowledge of Ontario Labour Laws
