**Requirements**:
- 3 years of Estimating experience
- Experience working in construction (preferably concrete)
- Customer Focused; good oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency working in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft, and Sketchup
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle
**Responsibilities**:
- Review blueprints, scope of work provided by president;
- Prepare takeoff, including specifications on depth of materials etc.;
- Review takeoff with president for pricing; Add all prices to take off for future reference;
- Update takeoff based on client review/changes;
- Contract Subcontractors for pricing as per Designer or Architects specifications;
- Responsible for creating and sending estimates to clients after approval from president; Further, responsible to obtain eco-sign for client signature for estimates and extra work;
- After approval of project, complete Project Sheet with detailed information of work to be complete;
- Adding all echo-sign extras and contracts to Dopbox folder (booked projects) and Trello for project and construction managers;
- Immediately after job is signed, create a folder in Dropbox (under current year projects) with copy of a. Final contract; b. Job materials sheet for project; c. Final sub-contractor prices where applicable; d. Order confirmations; e. Locates;
- Responsible for sending PO to Office Manager for material ordering based on final takeoff immediately after confirmation.
- Updating drop box throughout project with; a. final contract; b. Complete takeoff, only relevant aspects that were in the final project; c. job materials sheet; d. Signed Change orders/Extras; e. Sub-contractor prices based on final takeoff; f. Material order confirmations; e. locates;
- Advise and suggest improvements with regards to procedures and tools to help increase production capacity.
- Advise and suggest improvements with regards to all areas for cost savings and waste reducing.
**OTHER**: Responsible to adhere to company policies and procedures; Act in a professional manner using tact and diplomacy at all times; May be required to perform additional responsibilities as assigned;
**Salary**: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
