Stay Pooched is hiring a_ **part time**_ group dog walker to join our team

As a Group Dog Walker, you will walk a group of up to 6 dogs at a time. You will transport them to and from their homes and lead them on fun and safe hikes through the West Vancouver mountains, where they can exercise and socialize with their friends. The walks are primarily off leash, however, leash walking is required for a portion of the outing.

What we are looking for:

- Available Monday to Friday between 11:30pm - 4:30pm
- Has their own vehicle to transport dogs safely (Gas mileage is provided). A company vehicle will be provided to long term employees, who would like to grow with our team.
- Clean drivers license
- Clean background check
- Lives close to downtown Vancouver
- Willing to take the pet first aid course (course reimbursement will be paid after 3 months of employment)
- Experience working with dogs (professional or personally)
- Able to commit to a 6 month contract
- Ability to walk through various weather conditions (rain, snow, hail) on uneven terrain
- Physically capable of walking 4 - 6 dogs at a time.
- Dedicated to providing force & fear free loving care to our furry friends.
- Cell phone with a data plan
There will be a 2 week paid training, with an hourly rate of $18.
After training is completed, the hourly rate will increase to $19 + paid mileage with pay increase reviews available after 3 months.
