To support us on our journey, Sinai Health System is looking for a **Clinical Analyst III **to support our **Information Services **department.

The Clinical Analyst III is a senior analyst position within the Clinical Application team under Information Services. Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Applications, this position works collaboratively and cohesively in a dynamic, fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with a diverse group of professionals from Information Services, Clinical Operations and Support Services. The Clinical Analyst III will support the Manager and Director to operationalize clinical information system initiatives across the organization. The successful incumbent will coach and mentor junior analysts to further enhance and develop their existing knowledge base, skill sets and competencies in providing excellence and effectiveness in:

- Guidance and support for end-user workflow processes and downstream outputs with information systems
- Support project and operational initiatives through thoughtful and innovative

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving information management processes, evaluate requests for system improvements and determine feasibility and advisability of system changes
- Review system requirements and system design documents to ensure accuracy of system
- Continue to enhance and improve patient care by utilizing relationship management techniques with clinical areas, participating in committees and attending education workshops and seminars
- Support the development and implementation of downtime processes and procedures
- Performs other position related duties as required

**Job Requirements**:

- Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in Health Science, Health Informatics, Business or Computer Science from an accredited educational institution
- 10+ years of related experience required; with one (1) year in a health care environment preferred
- Applicants with proven recent and related training and experience may be considered
- Hands-on experience in clinical and/or non-clinical workflow and process redesign
- Detailed knowledge of business systems and processes
- Must have knowledge of or work experience with Meditech
- Demonstrated experience in systems analysis and design, including all phases of the SDLC
- Able to support, create and execute test scripts and successfully lead a team of business users through the process
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and to establish and build effective working relationships, functioning both independently as well as part of a team
- Experience working with change control procedures
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated attention to detail
- Strong leadership and mentoring/coaching qualities with the ability to engage, motivate and lead small to large teams, resolve team conflicts and work collaboratively to achieve overarching project goals
- Results oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record
