Reporting directly to the Guest Service Manager, this position is responsible for representing the resort through all stages of the reservation process.

Tofino Resort + Marina is an adventure-focused resort with 63 rooms located on the waterfront and is also the proud home of 1909 Kitchen and The Hatch Waterfront Pub. Set in the heart of town, on the water, Tofino Resort + Marina is base camp for west coast adventure. We serve the authentic Tofino experience, from fantastic food to the famous fishing of Clayoquot to the surf breaks of Long Beach. And we want you to join us.

**_ Core Job Responsibilities & Duties_**
- Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
- Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
- Checking the availability of accommodation or transportation on the customers’ desired travel dates.
- Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
- Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
- Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
- Selling and promoting reservation services.
- Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
- Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded seats/accommodations.
- Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments
- Providing accurate information in ensuring the sales of rooms to maximize resort revenue
- Maintain full comprehensive knowledge of room locations, features, rates, packages, and property offerings
- Responsible for all aspects of the front office and rooms while on shift
- Assist with check in/out process of groups and tours
- Effectively handle, investigate, and resolve and guest concerns that may arise in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of Resort operation hours
- Interact effectively with Guests and Staffs to create a positive Resort experience

**_ Job Requirements/Qualifications:_**
- Customer Service experience
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in microsoft office suite.
- Flexibility with shifts is a must
