**Location**: 2069 Preston Road, Cavan, ON (or reporting directly to sites in the Peterborough area)

**Contract Dates**: November 1st to April 15th

**Pay**: Up to $40.00 per hour

SUB Program or Standby pay available

**Overview**: We are seeking experienced equipment operators and AZ/DZ drivers for the winter season. As an equipment operator, you will be responsible for ensuring snow clearing, slip-free conditions by operating equipment (loaders, tractors or skid steers)

Experienced AZ/DZ truck drivers. As a salt/brine truck operator, you will be responsible for ensuring slip-free conditions by operating de-icing equipment and maintaining accurate records of your shift.

You will be on-call 24/7 during the winter months, so reliability and quick response times are crucial.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate equipment to efficiently remove snow.
- Operate salt/brine trucks equipped with de-icing systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all operational steps.
- Ensure safe and clear conditions for clients.
- Respond promptly to weather-related callouts.
- **Experienced**: Proven track record with equipment experience in snow removal. Proven track record with AZ/DZ trucks and salting or brining equipment.
- **Safety-Focused**: Adheres strictly to safety protocols and practices.
- **On-Call Availability**: Ready to work 24/7 based on weather conditions.

**Job Type**: Seasonal with potential for permanent, year-round employment

**Schedule**: 24/7 on-call

**Experience Required**:

- Minimum 3 years of clean equipment operation with preference including snowplows
- Minimum 3 years of clean CVOR with AZ/DZ license
- Experience with salt or brine de-icing equipment

**Requirements to apply**:
