**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
This position is in support of multiple departments at the Guelph facility. The main purpose of the Returned Goods Coordinator is to control the Returned Goods process from preparing to receive the product to repair/ modification, return to US or Canadian stock/customer/supplier/ or arranging the scrapping. Acts as liaise on Returned Goods matters among Aberfoyle Warehouse RMA Dept/Shipping Warehouse, Guelph Receiving/Shipping, Sales, Production Control, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance, Test/Inspection, Engineering and Quality Assurance.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Verify inbound returned goods received at Guelph. Take photos of the returned items; assess product with QA when required.
- Coordinate RG goods evaluations and test via the tablet for items at the warehouse and for Guelph returns; request Production Control to generate an assessment work order with my summary sheet to shop floor.
- Review RMA Portal for Aberfoyle and Guelph findings and discuss as necessary with Lead Hand regarding the required work and materials needed.
- Discuss with Engineering when required
- Review original MIP, BOM and prepare a repair quote for Inside Sales. Quote details to include: labour hours, department operations, materials, quantities, material costs, lead times.
- Populate RMA Portal with findings, test results, quote, and additional photos if required.
- Generating a formal Assessment Report when required by Sales.
- Review Customer’s repair PO against the HPS Sales Quote. Resolve any discrepancies and include all special notes and requirement on Work Order.
- Generate a Work Flow for the repair MIP (when needed) to Engineering and included all required notes that are to appear on the MIP along with hours associated to a GUE09EVAL, GUE18EVAL assessment work order.
- Maintain visibility of the order by follow up and expedite when necessary to ensure mip package is issued to the shop floor in a timely fashion as most if not all returns to Guelph have an urgent requirement for quickest turnaround time.
- Coordinate costing of and planning of repair activity with Cost Accounting and Production Control Scheduler and expedite wherever necessary
- Monitor of when free issue material is expected in for any repair/modification required.

**EDUCATION AND SKILLS**:

- Materials Management or equivalent diploma, or equivalent experience
- Min. 2-3 years in a discreet of job-shop manufacturing facility
- Exposure to Returned Goods practices
- Internal Quality Auditing
- Exposure to discreet manufacturing in a job shop environment
- Hands-on experience with ERP software
- Personal attributes - ethical, open-minded, diplomatic, observant, perceptive and tenacious.
- Communication skills - ability to act as liaison among departments.
